Increasing water levels of Black Sturgeon Lake will close roads today.

Coker Road from Kelly Road to the east side of Rice Bay will be closed until levels recede.

Following the closure, the Rice Bay water level will be monitored and inspected until all roads can re-open safely. The city will open Coker Road when it is also safe.

The closure ensures driver and pedestrian safety, and the integrity of the road by preventing significant damage.
