The province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is now looking into an incident that occurred in Dryden last month.

Few details have been provided

Provincial Police say officers were called to a report of a disturbance on the Government Street overpass on May 22nd at around 9 p.m.

A person found to be in medical distress.

First aid was administered on scene before the individual was taken to Dryden Hospital by the Northwest Emergency Medical Services.

The cause of the person’s medical distress or their current condition has not been revealed.

The SIU conducts criminal investigations of incidents situations involving police and civilians that resulted in serious injury, death or allegations of sexual assault.
