TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD:

You hear about the ‘skilled trades sector’ – and how skilled trades are the backbone of our city and communities around us.

Here’s some good news for apprentices across all of Ontario.

A charity called Support Ontario Youth is offering ten x $500 scholarships to help skilled trades apprentices cover some of their classroom training costs. Whether you’re studying electrical, plumbing, or another trade, every little bit helps when you’re investing in your future.

The scholarships are open to registered Ontario apprentices who are Level 2 or higher, and the money goes directly toward college training fees.

It’s a great reminder that there’s organizations out there helping people build careers, learn valuable skills, and keep those important trades strong for the next generation.

If that’s you, or someone you know, the application deadline is November 13th. $500 for filling out an application? I’d say that’s time well spent!

AND, good luck! Check out the link here: https://www.supportontarioyouth.ca/scholarships/
