Two New Brunswickers are headed to Turin, Italy, to represent Canada.

Jonathan Henry of Dieppe and Mario Richard of Tracadie Sheila will compete at the Special Olympics World Winter Games.

Henry will be looking for the gold in speed skating, while Richard is there as a Figure Skating Assistant Coach.

More than 1500 athletes from around the world will compete in eight sports from March 8th to 15th.

The Special Olympics World Games in Turin are set to be the world’s largest sports and humanitarian event of 2025.
