The speed limit is about to drop in the Fairview area of Halifax.

The city says it will go from 50 km/h to 40 km/h in the residential area including the following streets:

• Main Avenue (north);
• Dutch Village Road (east);
• Highway 102 (south); and,
• Dunbrack Street (west).

Crews will begin work starting April 14.
