Some traffic delays can be expected in uptown Saint John throughout the day on Wednesday.

There will be street closures from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. surrounding the development underway at 99 King Street.

This includes Charlotte Street between Union Street and King Street, and King Street between Germain Street and Charlotte Street.

“Charlotte Street and King Street will not be closed at the same time. The two closures will alternate to reduce the traffic disruptions,” the city said in a traffic advisory.

Access to properties and businesses inside the closed section will be maintained.
