Environment Canada expects winds of 70 to 90 km/h to gust through the region on Sunday afternoon.

Environment Canada has currently issued statements for a number of locations, including:

• Thunder Bay
• Dryden
• Fort Frances
• Kenora
• Sioux Lookout
• Nipigon
• Atikokan
• Ignace
• Nestor Falls

Thunderstorms may also develop and could generate winds of even greater speed.
