A suspect is in custody alleged to be involved in the disappearance of Alyssa Turnbull.
Multiple reports indicate that 27-year-old Nicholas Soos of Nipigon was arrested Monday by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and faces the following charges:
Two counts of interference with the human remains of Alyssa Turnbull
One count of improper disposal of human remains
One count of destroying evidence
Police also believe that Nicholas and his father Brian Soos were involved in disposing of the body of Turnbull between March and May of 2020.
The 26 year old woman was last seen in Nipigon in late March of 2020.
Her mother reported her missing the following month.
Nicholas Soos will be back in court on Friday.
