Thunder Bay Police are still looking for leads that will help solve a 20 year old homicide.

On this day in 2005, 67 year old Alma Teravainen was found deceased at the Harbour Terrace Variety Store on Cumberland Street South.

Police say she was well-known and respected.

As part of the investigation at the time, officers canvassed the area, collected evidence and conducted a number of interviews.

The homicide still remains unsolved.

Police are asking anyone with any information to come forward.

The Major Crimes Unit is conducting the investigation.
