A 16-year-old was stabbed after a confrontation with a group of masked youth on Chisholm Avenue in Halifax.

Officers are investigating the incident that happened just after midnight on April 19th.

Reports indicate the teen was with friends when a rock was thrown through the window of the home they were in. They went outside to investigate and encountered a group of masked youth dressed in black who sprayed them with a sensory irritant. That’s when one teen was stabbed.

The teen was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made and police say the investigation is ongoing.
