Some pics on Instagram have gone viral after a family shared them of their 2 year old child, Otto.  The family lives in Denmark.  Otto has a pet now.  It’s not a dog, a cat or some goldfish……it’s a wild crow.  To be more precise it’s actually called a wild Eurasian Crow. 

It visits Otto and the family everyday, and they decided to name him “Russell”.  Russell reserves most of the attention for the little boy.  The crow hangs around the family property, and several times a day, sits on the kitchen window sill.  The family found the crow injured on their property, so they decided to take care of it. It really has become part of the family.  The crow flies into the house and hangs out with Otto on their couch in the living room. 

“Russell the crow” even walks down the dirt road at the side of their house, while Otto rides his tricycle.  Wildlife services came out to check on it, and watched the connection it had with the family and were super impressed.

P.S: I wonder what actor Russell Crowe thinks of all of this? LOL.
