Today’s good news story comes from Tampa, Florida.  Don Thomas is well known in his community for his years of dedication and hard work.  A few weeks ago, he was spotted pushing a very ‘heavy ice-cream freezer’ down the road in the very hot Florida weather. 

Naturally, when someone sees something like this…they take out their phone and record it.  A famous TikToker named Wavy, shared the video to her followers and it was viewed millions of times.  She wanted to do something for Don.  He’s been selling ice cream bars from his freezer for years. The community knows who HE IS. 

Wavy decided to donate some money to get his freezer up and running again.  Then, launched a Go Fund Me Page. It raised over $30,000 in a matter of hours.  Don was able to buy his own “ice cream trailer”!  He’s now selling ice cream around the Tampa community, with a ton of support! 

This simple act became a movement.  Humanity really does CARE!
