You often hear of lottery winners who’ve won more than once. That alone is an unbelievable moment. How about 3 times?
Neil Carter, a retired father and grandfather from Keswick, Ontario (just south-east of Barrie), has been playing the lottery for almost 40 years. His winning started 9 years ago, when he won $15,000 on an Instant Scrabble scratch ticket. Then, last October, he won a Lottario jackpot worth $360,000. He told OLG, quote, “this win is still hard to believe / it came as a shock / I’m so grateful and happy / I can’t stop smiling”.
Well, Neil…..hang tight, because it happened again.
Last week, he went to the OLG offices to pick up a check for $1 million. It was on a Millionaire Multiplier scratch ticket. He said, “being a winner feels miraculous, you never know if you’ll be the one”.
Could a 4th time be a charm? AMAZING!
