Back in the early Spring, our Thunder Bay Police Service announced something cool.  It all has to do with items you buy and sell on FB Marketplace or T. Bay Buy & Sell. 
Do you ever feel…maybe slightly uncomfortable having a stranger come to your home to buy your item / or maybe having to meet them in a parking lot?

Say hello to THE SAFE TRADE ZONE. This is now offered by our police service.  It’s set up at the Police headquarters on Balmoral. There are designated parking spaces to make your exchange. It’s well lit and there are surveillance cameras.  What a fabulous idea!  

THANK YOU THUNDER BAY POLICE SERVICE!  The “SAFE TRADE ZONE” – use it!
