Specific high-risk groups in Ontario will be offered a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
With that news Tuesday from the province, officials with the Thunder Bay District Health Unit are actively planning for the administration of the doses, which includes working with those in long-term care to get shots in the arms of residents.
Third doses will not be offered at local pharmacies or at the CLE Coliseum.
