Tragedy in PEI, so close to the holiday season.
A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal crash that left three young people dead, and three others injured.
RCMP PEI say the crash happened on December 8th on St. Peter’s Road in Marshfield.
It’s believed a pick-up truck pulled out into the oncoming lane and struck a car head on.
An 18-year-old man, 18-year-old woman, and a youth in the car were all killed, and a teen boy is being treated for serious injuries.
A man who was a passenger of the truck was also seriously injured and the driver of the truck also suffered injuries.
RCMP have made an arrested for Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance Causing Death and Impaired Operation of a Conveyance Causing Death.
RCMP Corporal Gavin Moore says this is the third collision in the last three days that has resulted in the arrest of an impaired driver.
