Several Thunder Bay businesses, non-profits, and businesspeople were celebrated on Thursday by the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce for its 32nd Annual Business Excellence Awards.

The awards were presented at the CLE Coliseum by Synergy North.

President Charla Robinson of the Chamber of Commerce describes the awards as “a special opportunity for the business community to come together to honour those who are doing phenomenal work in our community.”

The awards winners are the following:

Looking Good: Regional Food Distribution Association (RFDA).

Customer Service Excellence: Jones Insurance

Not For Profit Excellence: Our Kids Count.

New Business Excellence: La Sur Wellness & Co.

Equity Diversity and Inclusion: Nature’s Nest Early Learning Centre.

Quality of Life: United Way of Thunder Bay

Small Business Excellence: Happy Pooch.

Medium Business Excellence: Teleco.

Large Business Excellence: Bayside GeoScience Inc.

Game Changer: Triple Threat Talent.

Young Entrepreneur of the Year: Cody Myshok, Superior Soft Wash.

Business Person of the Year: A tie between Jamie Crozier of Thunder Bay Hydraulics and Jeff Jones of Jones Insurance.
