A man is facing several charges following a cyber crime investigation in Thunder Bay.

In November, officers received reports that a resident was engaged in illegal activity.

As a result, police searched a home in December and seized multiple electronics.

On Monday the suspect in the investigation was arrested.

A 32-year-old is facing the following charges:

  • Distribute intimate images without consent (four counts)
  • Identity fraud (two counts)
  • Criminal harassment
  • Breach of probation (three counts)
  • Breach of release order
  • Accessing child pornography
  • Luring a child
  • Making sexually explicit material available to a child

The accused remains in custody with a future court date.
