There’s lots of construction happening on various city roads.

Acadia News reached out to Kayla Dixon, who is the city’s Director of Engineering & Operations for an update.

Central Ave

Paving on Central Ave is being completed this year from Fort William Rd to the Overpass and should be finishing up soon

River St Sinkhole

Council approved more cash for the project to pre-purchase of material to repair the culverts and to tender and award the construction to the lowest qualified bid to facilitate the repairs of the culverts this year
Delivery of materials will still delay the start of work into the fall.
River St will remain closed until construction is complete
