The Thunder Bay District Health Unit reported 2 new cases yesterday, and 2 more resolved. That keeps our active case count steady at 3. Our Health Unit also reported just under 169,000 total doses administered in our district. 37% of the population in our region 12 plus – are fully vaccinated. Provincially: 164 cases reported from almost 29,000 tests.
Our city’s annual LIVE ON THE WATERFRONT is happening this summer. Local performers are ready to entertain you. There are 3 ways to watch: on-line, at Boomers Drive In, or in person. NOTE: in-person will be limited to 25 people. The concerts will be filmed on the top floor of the ‘waterfront parkade downtown’. Check out the City’s website for full details. When is the last time you watched SESAME STREET? Sesame Street is getting ready to introduce a new character next month. A white and brown puppy named TANGO. All to explore the special bond between children and pets. Tango will be introduced in a 30 minute special next month called “Elmo Gets A Puppy”, and then, will be fully set to debut on Sesame Street’s 52nd season this Fall.
