You might have a tough time getting to Winnipeg this afternoon.

A blizzard warning has been issued for southern Manitoba, and a number of highways have been closed.

That includes Highway 1 from Hadashville into Winnipeg.

An emergency alert has been issued, and travel is not recommended.

Manitoba 511 says conditions are worsening and there is limited visibility.
