Irving Oil employees will pay tribute to their former president and chairman on Friday.
Arthur Irving passed away on Monday at the age of 93 after a battle with cancer.
A procession of company fleet vehicles is scheduled to take place starting at 2:30 p.m. Friday.
Starting at Dedication Street, the procession will travel on Grandview Avenue to Heather Way, Hickey Road and Loch Lomond Road.
It will then continue on Loch Lomond Road past the refinery, continuing to Bayside Drive where it will move toward Rockwood Park and down Mount Pleasant Avenue.
The procession will loop back to continue on Crown Street toward the uptown area, passing around King’s Square in front of the Irving Oil home office.
Finally, it will continue on the Courtenay Bay Causeway and end at Irving Blending and Packaging.
A public service in memory of Irving will take place at his home starting at 10 a.m. Saturday.
