
Bear Wise are on South Water Street trying to get two bear cubs to safety.
The bears were first spotted in the area early Friday morning, and they had made their way into separate trees by noon.
One bear made its way into a tree on Andras Court, while the other is in a tree behind the waterfront art gallery construction.
Both bears remained at large as of 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
Thunder Bay city police are on scene providing assistance as needed.
On scene, Bear Wise staff says there is a mother and three cubs in the area.
