Two people died and four were injured in a late-night crash near Martock on Thursday night.

First responders arrived after receiving reports the vehicles collided shortly before 11 p.m. on Highway 14 (Chester/Windsor Road) in Windsor Forks.

A man and a woman of unspecified age or hometown were declared dead at the scene, while two other people were seriously injured.

The other two people involved in the collision only sustained minor injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.

The road was closed until around 9 a.m., Friday morning but has since reopened.
