As we see COVID-19 numbers continue to increase across the district, the Thunder Bay District Health Unit has declared two more outbreaks at local schools.

The schools in question are St. Margaret School and Hammarskjold High School.

Two people associated with Hammarskjold have tested positive, and three at St. Margaret.

Both schools will remain open at this time and additional measures will be taken as needed.

Public Health and the school boards are working to investigate the situation.
