Ukraine could be the big winners in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, despite the horrific events unfolding during Russia‘s invasion of the country. The European Broadcasting Union announced that Russia would not be taking part because of their invasion of Ukraine.

Ukraine’s Kalush Orchestra has entered their song Stefania, an ode to motherhood that has become the favorite to win, leading in betting odds over Italy, Sweden and Greece. It’s become a popular anthem.  Check it out. The Eurovision Song Contest starts Tuesday, May 10th in Turin, Italy.
