Just one week before Christmas, and we’ve got a weather system to tell you about.
It will not blanket the area in white, though.
Environment Canada has issued special weather statements for southern, southeast and southcentral New Brunswick.
It calls for unseasonably warm temperatures, significant rainfall, and strong winds.
Temperatures will hit double digits on Friday, with highs of 12 degrees for some regions.
More than 25 millimetres of rain is expected late Friday and Saturday.
Winds will gust to 100 kilometres an hour.
Environment Canada warns, this could cause melting snow, and there’s the potential for flooding.
