The province is setting up COVID-19 vaccine clinics in or near schools before classes get back in session.

However, the Thunder Bay District Health Unit suggests students and staff shouldn’t wait until those are in place.

A statement from the Health Unit says officials encourage everyone who can get vaccinated to do so as soon as possible before school starts.

It adds we will have details about school-related clinics as soon as they are available.
