A road near Sioux Lookout is closed due to a collision.

The OPP say Vermillion River Road is blocked at Highway 516 due to a serious collision.

Provincial Police say they are on the scene and asking the public to avoid the area.

The road closure is expected to the lengthy as the investigation is on-going.
