A man convicted of sexual assault is now being sought on a Canada-wide warrant.

Mark MacKinnon is accused of breaching the conditions of statutory release, according to Saint John police.

The 45-year-old man was residing at a community correctional centre in the city.

MacKinnon is serving a nearly three-year sentence after being convicted of sexual assault, assaulting a peace officer causing bodily harm, and theft under $5,000.

He is described as 5’10” tall, weighing about 290 pounds, with brown eyes and a bald head.
