Today is a very import day. September 30, 2021 marks the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.  The day honours the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities.  It is a day of as a day of remembrance, reflection, action and learning.  I was not really aware of residential schools growing and have just recently learned about the tragic history.  I try to continue to learn more about it and listen.  I found this video very informative and helpful.
