Britney is back! Sort of….if you haven’t heard all of the hoopla surrounding Britney Spears in recent years you have definitely not been near social media! Now that Britney is out of the conservatorship of her father, she’s dipping her toes into creating music again. Her first venture? A collaboration with the one and only Elton John! The song, ‘Hold Me Closer’ takes the same formula as the collaboration between Elton John and Dua Lipa (Cold Heart) which samples and references a classic Elton John song but gives it an updated dance beat. To be honest, I prefer the Dua Lipa track but this is a great way to get Britney back into the music world after so long! Check out both the Britney and Dua Lipa collaborations below!
