After the Queen‘s death last week at age 96, she left behind two of her beloved Corgis.

The dog became the pet to symbolize royalty, always by the Queen’s side, and became a popular breed to own, after the family received their first and again during the recent Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The question asked by many after the Queen’s passing was who would take them? Reports stated that the Duke and Duchess of York, Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah will care for them.  It’s something we don’t usually think about. What would you do with a pet if you, friend or family member died while they were still in your care. Mrs. Ed made a deal with her parents that when they pass away, we will look after their new puppy Harley, a cute little toy poodle.

Has this ever happened to you? Do you have a pet you’re looking after in this situation?
