Two people have died after a crash between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck on Highway 102.

It happened around 10:20 Saturday night at Sistonens Corners.

Ontario Provincial Police Sergeant Mike Golding confirms the driver and passenger of the transport truck were killed in the crash, while four people in the pickup were taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

A young child was airlifted to London, Ontario for treatment.

Golding says it appears the westbound transport truck went through a stop sign, striking the pickup truck.

The highway was closed until around 2:30 Sunday afternoon.
