Every couple of weeks, 99.9 The Bay morning show host Danny Foresta, checks in with Andrew Edwards, with the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium — and every time, the TBCA seems to have even more going on. From major concert announcements to local legends and outdoor summer events, the auditorium is firing on all cylinders as it wraps up its 40th season.
Bryan Adams adds a 2nd show
Bryan Adams is now playing two nights — September 2nd and 3rd.

The demand for the first show was so intense that tickets disappeared almost instantly. Fans were frustrated, and the TBCA heard them loud and clear. Working with Live Nation, they convinced Bryan to turn what would’ve been a rare day off into a second Thunder Bay performance. There are still great seats for the September 2nd show, including regular-price tickets. But they won’t last long.
Reuniting on stage: Raine Maida & Chantal Kreviazuk
Another big announcement:
Raine Maida and Chantal Kreviazuk are returning to Thunder Bay on November 26th.
It’s been nearly a decade since Chantal last performed at the TBCA, and Raine hasn’t taken the stage there in years. This tour is something special — the married couple is hitting the road with a new book, a new album, and a full band.
Expect:
- Classic Our Lady Peace favourites
- Chantal’s iconic hits
- Stories from their life together
- A night of music and conversation
Chantal’s songwriting credits alone could fill a wall.
A Thunder Bay icon takes the stage: Rodney Brown
To close out the TBCA’s 40th season, the auditorium wanted something with local soul — and they found it. Rodney Brown, a Thunder Bay legend, is headlining a full evening of music.
This time, he’s bringing a band and performing the music of:
- Bob Dylan
- Leonard Cohen
- Neil Young
Blues in the Ballpark: a summer highlight at Port Arthur Stadium
The TBCA isn’t staying indoors this summer. In August, they’re taking over Port Arthur Stadium for Blues in the Ballpark, a major outdoor event featuring:
- The Kentucky Headhunters
- Tom Lavin & the Powder Blues
- And more blues artists
Tickets are available through the TBCA.
