Provincial Police are reminding drivers about new rules around stunt driving and street racing.
At the start of July, the Highway Traffic Act was updated to double the time your vehicle can be impounded for stunt driving.
It can now be seized for 14 days, and you can also face a seven-day license suspension.
The speed threshold has been lowered for stunt driving on roads with a posted speed limit below 80 kilometres per hour.
Drivers caught travelling 40 km/h or more above the posted speed limit can now face racing charges.
That figure is still 50 km/h over the limit on roads with a posted speed limit of 80 km/h or higher.
