A 47-year-old Sandy Lake man will be back in court to face several charges, including Assault with a Weapon.

The charges stem from a call just after 3:30 p.m. Saturday to Thunder Bay Police following multiple reports of the accused striking vehicles with an apparent metal pipe.

After a struggle with the suspect, officers were able to make the arrest and bring him to police headquarters.

Investigators also learned a woman was attacked by the accused while at a stop light at the Walsh and James Streets intersection.

The Sandy Lake man also faces four counts of Mischief Under $5,000.
