Charges have been laid after Thunder Bay Police Service’s Intelligence unit seized cocaine from a north-side home on Wednesday.

They had help from the OPP’s Organized Crime and Enforcement Bureau with the estimated value of the drugs totaling $11,000. The search happened at a home on Secord Street, a warrant obtained as a result of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking.

Three Thunder Bay residents were arrested as a result of the investigation. One person appeared in bail court Tuesday and will remain in custody until a future court date. The other two have been released from custody with conditions and also another day in court.

The names of those accused individuals are being withheld pending the charges against them being sworn before the courts.
