The Thunder Bay Police is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 71-year-old Peter Elchuk.

Elchuk was last seen May 19 in the area of Dawson Road around 5 pm.

There is concern for his well-being as he suffers from dementia.

Police and family are asking residents in the Dawson Road area and surrounding neighbourhoods to check their properties, sheds, garages, vehicles, and any surveillance or doorbell camera footage for possible sightings of Elchuk.

He is described as a Caucasian man standing 5’7″, with grey hair, and a grey goatee.

Elchuk was last seen wearing dark grey jeans and a black jean jacket.
