Today marks one month until Christmas Eve. One month from now, all the holiday buzz / shopping will be wrapped up!!

Over the weekend, I ran into a friend at the grocery store and I was asked the question (that so many people ask at this time): “Have you started your Christmas shopping”? My simple answer was “No”. The tree is up, the decorations are up – that’s it. I naturally asked the same question to my friend, and their answer: “We’re done, and presents all wrapped too, and under the tree”!

WOW! WOW! I have never started holiday shopping in November alone, and to hear that my friend is DONE shopping, is amazing. That is the true definition of “planning ahead”. It certainly relieves the stress of all that ‘last minute shopping’.

HOWEVER – for me, I actually enjoy it. The buzz, the rush and the busy streets and stores. In my early 20’s, I would shop on Christmas Eve and have presents wrapped by supper. LOL

So, there is no right, or wrong. It all depends on YOU.

But, if you’re all finished like my friend is…………………..way to go! Truly awesome!
