Highway 11 between Geralton and Hearst remains closed as the OPP continue their investigation of a serious collision.

The incident took place around 6:30 this morning after the Greenstone OPP and medical services responded to two-vehicle accident.

Highway 11 is expected to remain closed for several more hours as police conduct their investigation.

Commercial traffic will be held in Nipigon or redirected to Highway 17 and local traffic is being allow through to Geralton.

Anyone who might have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage of the area at the time of the accident is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
