The 19-year-old teen sensation has burnt up the courts and has become a huge crowd favorite with her streak of wins over 4 consecutive ranked players. Leylah will face 18-year-old Emma Raducanu of Great Britain. The two have something in common, they are both children from immigrant parents(Emma was also born in Canada). Leylah’s father Jorge, also one of her coaches, teared up when he was asked on TSN about the pride he feels for his daughter to represent Canada on the international stage.
