Acadia Broadcasting’s 36 Hours of Cheer marathon fundraiser has raised $107,780, approaching the 29-hour mark.

An exciting power hour with Impala Canada has helped the Cheer marathon cross the six-figure threshold, with a staggering $18,580 raised in one hour, of which $7,000 was contributed by Impala.

Funds raised during 36 Hours of Cheer go to the Christmas Cheer Fund, which aims to fill hungry bellies over the Christmas holidays.

The Christmas Cheer Fund hopes to raise $280,000 this year.

36 Hours of Cheer is expected to make up the plurality of donations to the campaign.
