Two people from Thunder Bay and two teens from Toronto are charged with drug related offences.
Thunder Bay Police Service Officers along with Superior North EMS Paramedics were sent to a home on Ogden Street Tuesday afternoon after hearing of a women possibly in medical distress. Officers arrived to the home and noted suspicious activity consistent with a home takeover.
Further investigation led to police determining there were unwanted individuals from Toronto inside the home who were conducting what officers felt was drug trafficking.
Police seized crack cocaine, oxycodone pills, and more than $5,000.
Four suspects were were arrested Tuesday afternoon, including an 18-year-old and 16-year-old from Toronto.
Kelly Jean CAMPBELL, 30, of Thunder Bay, is charged with:
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
Deon Darkwa, 18, of Toronto, is charged with:
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
• Being Unlawfully in a Dwelling
• Breach of Recognizance
• Resist Peace Officer
Andrew Allan POST, 30, of Thunder Bay, is charged with:
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
• Failure to Comply with Release Order
A 16-year-old female from Toronto is charged with:
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
• Being Unlawfully in a Dwelling
The identity of the 16-year-old is being withheld under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
All four appeared in bail court Wednesday and have future court dates.
