A third person has been charged in connection with a sex trafficking investigation launched in 2023 that involves multiple victims.

Police say a 38-year-old man was arrested at a home in Dartmouth last week. His arrest follows two others taken into custody in April as part of the same investigation.

Investigators say the case has also revealed connections to New Brunswick and Ontario.

The accused has since been released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in court on June 22.

Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
